 The Peak District Walking Festival
24 April – 9 May 2010
The Peak District Walking Festival is one of the largest and most varied festivals in the country, with more than 170 walks led by expert and knowledgeable guides.
New this year ‘Sally and the Chocolate Factory’ – a gentle walk in and around Castleton including a stop for demonstrations and tasters at the award winning Cocoadance chocolate factory.

‘Footsteps in the Forest‘

The National Forest Walking Festival has a great range of walks for all ages and abilities, from a 25 mile ramble to a 1 mile Family Fun walk. Join our guides to explore the varied landscape of The National Forest across parts of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
New this year, a 25 mile ramble over a weekend giving 6 hours walking each day and the opportunity to wine, dine and stay overnight.
